An Executive Director with more than 30 years local government experience Fliss has had a varied career across many of the core services offered by the Council including environmental health, contact centre, ICT, libraries, catering and cleaning and leisure.  Most recently, Fliss has taken Adult Social Care and Housing into her portfolio.  

Fliss has been instrumental in some of the key projects delivered by the Council including overseeing and coordinating the Covid community response working with public, voluntary and private sector partners to provide food, clothing and digital devices to communities most in need.

Fliss has a sharp focus on performance and customer service which is of fundamental importance in ensuring that the Council meets the needs and demands of our communities.  Alongside this, Fliss has made a significant contribution to creating an inclusive culture ensuring that the Council has a focus on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in all that it does.
