Sarah Martin is Chief Officer and Director of Corporate Services at Dartford Borough Council. Her local government career scans over thirty years. A qualified ACCA accountant, Sarah previously held roles as Principal Accountant at Dover District Council, Interim Accountant at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, and then Financial Services Manager at Thanet District Council. Sarah joined Dartford Borough Council in 2014 as Director and S151 Officer with responsibility for all the corporate support services. Following a corporate restructure in 2021, Sarah is now the Chief Officer and Head of Paid Services.
