Kathryn has worked in Local Government for 20 years, leading transformation and change through several roles in Stockport and Wigan Council. She is passionate about improving the lives of people and communities. Kathryn is currently the Executive Director for Corporate and Support Services in Stockport Council, where she has responsibility for strategy, digital, communications, workforce, finance, legal and community engagement. She also leads Stockroom, a new library and cultural space in the heart of the town centre. Kathryn has worked in Stockport for 5 years, prior to this, Kathryn was the Assistant Director of Transformation in Wigan Council. There she played an integral role in the design and delivery of the Wigan Deal, which transformed the way the council worked with communities. Kathryn is a board member at MENCAP which she joined as a trustee in January 2022.
