Ruth King delivers Swindon’s Dads at Their Best service, a pioneering programme supporting young fathers aged 25 and under from pregnancy through their child’s first year. Developed with support from the local and national Family Nurse Partnership, the programme helps fathers build confidence, access support and develop strong relationships with their children from day one. Alongside her frontline work, Ruth has helped drive wider change by co-founding Swindon’s Working with Fathers Community of Practice. She also co-developed the Working with Young Fathers Toolkit with Leeds Trinity University and Tracey Modica, enabling improved practice locally and nationally.
