Sharon is the Chief Executive of North East Lincolnshire Council and a qualified accountant. She began her career in the private sector before joining NELC in 2010, where she has held a number of senior roles. In 2021, she became Executive Director of Environment, Economy and Resources, a role she held alongside her responsibilities as Deputy Chief Executive. Born in North East Lincolnshire, Sharon has been central to the council’s transformation agenda, with a strong focus on place, community wellbeing and financial stability. She is recognised as an experienced systems leader who works collaboratively with partners to turn challenges into opportunities and support a thriving, sustainable local area.
