Rob began his role as Chief Executive of the CPCA in June 2023. Since joining the organisation, and successfully led its improvement journey, with the lifting of MHCLG’s Best Value Notice in September 2024. He has also overseen CPCA's progression through the next stages of government funding, including successfully passing the Government Gateway review, helping to strengthen the organisation's position and support its long-term ambitions as CPCA moved to Established status. Previously Rob was the Chief Executive of North Northamptonshire Council where he successfully set up the new unitary council and has overseen the successful implementation of a wide range of projects and initiatives, including the establishment of North Northamptonshire Council as a new unitary authority. As a successful strategic leader, Rob has driven positive cultural change and has also led on regeneration, external investment and transformation. Rob is passionate about improving public services and the place where people live.
