Will Tuckley Will became the interim Chief Executive of the City of Brighton and Hove in May 2023. He was previously Chief Executive of Tower Hamlets Council (2015-2023) and L B Bexley (2008-2015). He is a non-executive director in the NHS and led on Health matters for London Chief Executives for many years. He is a previous chair of the London Chief Executives (CELC), board member of London Marathon Events Ltd and chair of a Housing Association. His career started working in housing for the Greater London Council and has included stints at L B Croydon as Deputy Chief Executive and the forerunners of London Councils. He is proud of many achievements across his career including his role in winning the new Wembley stadium for London, bringing trams to Croydon, regeneration and the new civic offices in Bexley and the improvement journey (and new Town Hall) in Tower Hamlets.
