Sharon Lea has been the Chief Executive of the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham for two years, having joined the Council in 2018 as its Strategic Director for Environment. Prior to that, Sharon held a diverse range of Director positions over twenty years, including as Strategic Director of the UK’s largest local authority and roles managing Environmental Services, Highways, Housing, Benefits, Neighbourhood Services, Leisure and Culture, Adult Education, Libraries and Community Safety. She is skilled in delivering high profile service transformation projects to generate excellent performance and multi million pound efficiencies across a range of services, managing up to £750 million annual gross budgets.
