Jeff Stack is the Chief Executive at Broxbourne Borough Council which is in south east Hertfordshire, adjoining Enfield LB. He joined the Council in 2008 as the Director of Environmental Services and became Chief Executive in 2013. Prior to this he worked for Thanet, Swale and Shepway Councils in Kent. He is a chartered town planner by background and has been a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 1985. He worked in the house building industry in the late 1980s. Broxbourne were winners of the Entrepreneurial Council of the Year award in 2017. Through a combination of efficiency savings and an ambitious commercialisation programme, Broxbourne has been financially self-sufficient since 2017.
