Ade is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bromley Council. Prior to joining Bromley Council, Ade was awarded an OBE in 2013, by Her Majesty the Queen for his contribution to public services in the United Kingdom. Ade is a Trustee of Coram, the United Kingdom’s first ever charity dedicated to supporting the adoption of children. He is also a Freeman of the City of London, a unique historical title that dates back to 1237, as well as being a Liveryman of the Haberdashers’ Company, an ancient merchant guild. As a recognised leader in his field, Ade was identified as one of the 100 most influential business leaders in the United Kingdom in 2019 and was runner-up in the MJ Chief Executive of the Year award in 2020. Ade is an Alumni of University of Ilorin, Brunel University, University of Hull and University of Cambridge.
