Paul Medd has been the Chief Executive at Fenland District Council since 2011.
Having previously worked in the private, public and voluntary sectors, Paul joined the Council in 2006 to take up the post of Executive Director. Paul has since played a vital role in transforming the Council from an organisation in need of improvement to the customer focussed, award winning district council that it is today.
Paul has recently worked with colleagues in other councils to help secure a successful Devolution Deal for the local area. As the Interim Chief Executive of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority up until early 2017, Paul helped to build the foundation of the successful and ambitious organisation we see today.
Paul continues to work with other local Chief Executives and Leaders to deliver the ambitious plans of the Combined Authority, with a particular interest in the Wisbech Garden Town proposal.
