Policy Advisor on Wellbeing and Health,
Manjeet describes herself as a social entrepreneur who has served in three Chief Executive roles in District and Unitary Councils.
Manjeet has provided leadership working with great political and staff teams to make Councils more commercial, collaborative, community facing and leaders of place. She developed the new operating model of an Entrepreneurial Council for West Lindsey District Council, which invested in community Co-production as well as new companies to deliver social outcomes and revenue streams.
Manjeet has also been active as a non executive Director with government, national charities and the the NHS. She is currently in NED roles with the Home Office and a high performing hospital trust in Notts where she Chairs the HR and OD Committee. She is coach and advisor on commercialisation, Companies, OD, diversity, system change and stakeholder engagement. NHS and local government insight has enabled her to drive the health and social care integration agendas in her local areas.
Manjeet plays an active role in SOLACE and has advised on leadership, housing, growth and is currently championing race diversity and is a SOLACE policy advisor on wellbeing and health.
She has a respected reputation at national level working with the LGA, DCLG and MOD on regeneration of the MOD land and has led on One Public Estate and Town Centre Regeneration and chaired Town centre regeneration Boards, building partnership and council teams.
Manjeet is a seasoned LGC judge previously judging categories such as Transformation and Entrepreneurial Council of the Year.
