South Norfolk Council
Sandra Dinneen has been Chief Executive of South Norfolk Council since 2008 and has driven a commercial focus through the organisation, including setting up a number of trading companies. She also has a particular interest in the prevention agenda leading the establishment of a multiagency help hub at South Norfolk Council.
Sandra has a keen interest in organisational development, cultural change and commercialisation, conceiving an internal change programme to drive business performance through actively involving staff at all levels and maximising income opportunities. This has resulted in major efficiencies and new ways of working.
From July 2015 to July 2017, Sandra was the Chairman of the Chief Executive Group of the District Councils’ Network, the representative body of all 201 district councils in England and worked hard to promote the contribution of district councils in driving growth and delivering the day to day services that sustain people's health and well- being within communities. Sandra also sits on a number of bodies to influence and help shape national and regional policy.
