Gwyn Owen is Managing Director of Essex Housing, Essex County Council’s in-house development arm. Gwyn setup Essex Housing around seven years ago to bring forward private, affordable and specialist housing in Essex, as well as new community assets. The team are focused on the quality of the housing and assets that they build, as well as making a broader positive impact in terms of place shaping and regeneration. Gwyn has worked at Essex County Council for over 15 years and prior to Essex Housing led a number of projects that involved bringing partners together to improve outcomes for residents, particularly those that are most vulnerable.
