Donna was appointed Chief Executive in February 2020. She is passionate about local government, great service delivery and her role and responsibilities as a leader of place. Committed to inclusive growth and resilient communities, Donna has reset the Council’s approach to sustainability, economic development and commercial relationships and is delivering ambitious regeneration plans for Watford, including the creation of a vibrant, new town-centre extension. She has developed a more strategic approach to community engagement and participation, seeking to build economic and social wellbeing in the borough. Donna has taken a pivotal convening role as a systems leader for Watford, championing the key role of district authorities in the ICS.
