Rob began his current role at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) as Chief Executive in June 2023. Prior to this role, Rob was Chief Executive of North Northamptonshire Council (NNC). Rob has personally led the improvement journey of CPCA since his arrival. At NNC, Rob led on the successful implementation of a wide range of projects including the establishment of the new unitary authority. Prior to his role at NNC, Rob was Chief Executive of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council (WHBC). As a successful strategic leader, Rob drove positive cultural change. He has an approachable and personable style and believes in creating cultures that allow people to be their very best. Rob has led on regeneration, external investment and transformation/modernisation and is passionate about improving public services to ensure services are delivered in the best way possible for local residents and businesses.
